Nitrogen addition slows succession within an arbuscular mycorrhizal community, which leads to shifts in fungal community composition, reduced diversity, and reduced richness relative to untreated control plots after 4 years of grassland reconstruction.

In an attempt to predict the composition of local plant assemblage using trait-based models along an elevational gradient, we found that infraspecific trait variability inhibited our ability to predict plant composition.  Happy to announce that I've started a post-doc with Eric Seabloom & Elizabeth Borer in the department of Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior at the University of Minnesota working within the Nutrient Network!
